Hydrant Flushing Week of May 4th - May 8th

Be advised the Department of Public Works will be conducting hydrant flushing in the North Water System May 4th and 5th and the South Water System May 6th between the hours of 7:30am and 3:30pm.

Hydrant flushing is a routine maintenance activity that helps ensure water quality and system reliability. If your water is discolored, run cold water from a faucet, preferably at the lowest point in your home, until it clears. Avoid using hot water to prevent drawing discolored water into your hot water tank.
